Temporary Harbour Operatives Wanted
Saundersfoot Harbour Commissioners are looking to recruit Fixed Term Harbour Operatives for the remainder of the 2026 season.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in one of Pembrokeshire's most iconic coastal locations, helping to ensure the Harbour remains clean, safe and welcoming for everyone who visits.
The Role
As a Harbour Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the Harbour, walkways and car park.
- Monitoring daily traffic movements within the Harbour car park.
- Assisting visitors and responding to customer enquiries.
- Issuing electronic tickets to slipway users.
- Checking moored vessels and taking payments where required.
- Ensuring Harbour users comply with Harbour rules and regulations to promote a safe environment for everyone.
The role involves working a varied shift pattern, including evenings and weekends.
About You
Marine experience would be an advantage, whether through leisure boating, vessel maintenance, mooring installation and servicing, or similar experience. However, if you're enthusiastic, enjoy working outdoors, and have excellent customer service skills, we'd still love to hear from you.
