An exciting chance to let a restaurant area with spectacular views within a hybrid space overlooking the beach and Saundersfoot Harbour!

Unit 23 Storm Centre (a hybrid exhibition/events/restaurant space) is located on the first floor of the Marine Centre of Excellence features a wrap around balcony and unbeatable views of Glen Beach, Monkstone Point, and Saundersfoot's bustling working fishing harbour. The restaurant area offers space for up to 43 indoor covers with potential for further external seating on the balcony, and comes with a ground floor cellar/store room (8.22m2), which has easy access for deliveries and to the bin store, as well as to the restaurant kitchen area via a goods lift.

As part of a new hybrid open space, the restaurant shares the space with the Storm Centre exhibition, which explores the coastal environment of Saundersfoot and its future - what causes tides and waves; coastal erosion and flooding; weather processes, climate change and sustainability; requiring the prospective tenant of the restaurant to work closely with the Harbour. The Storm Centre is scheduled to open for Summer 2023, and is one of three new interpretation centres on Saundersfoot Harbour, the others of which explore Saundersfoot's coal mining history, and Welsh maritime heritage.

This is a shell and core space, however, as a shared space, some aspects of fit out e.g flooring, can be done in unison with the Harbour's fit out of the exhibition space, offering the opportunity to share some fit out costs.

The Marine Centre of Excellence is steps from the beautiful and dog-friendly Glen Beach, popular with dog-walkers, rockpoolers, and water sports; and is home to a water sports centre, Ocean Cabins accommodation - 10 short-stay rooms, with an additional 8 rooms opening in 2023, MamGu Welshcakes cafe, two flexible meeting/room hire spaces, chandlery, and marine workshop.

High Ropes Operator

Saundersfoot Harbour are looking for an operator to run a high ropes course on the new Coastal Schooner.

Located on the National Events Deck, next to the popular Crabbing Centre, the Coastal Schooner is a life-size, three-masted schooner built in the likeness of the tall ships which once operated out of the harbour, and will include an interpretation centre focused on Welsh maritime heritage from coastal trade to exploration and piracy. Visitors to the heritage centre will have the option to climb the rigging, and the Harbour are now on the look out for a high ropes operator ready for the centre opening this summer.
